About IrisAI

We build the missing piece between your content and the people looking for it.

The problem we set out to solve

Most websites already contain the answers their visitors want. The answers are just hard to find — buried three clicks deep, phrased in the company’s vocabulary rather than the customer’s, or spread across four pages that each hold a fragment.

Site search doesn’t help, because it matches letters rather than meaning. Visitors give up, and the business never learns what they were looking for.

Your content isn’t the problem. Getting people to the right paragraph is.

What we believe

An assistant should decline

A chatbot that answers everything isn’t more capable than one that admits a gap — it’s just harder to trust. Ours says when it doesn’t know.

Your content stays yours

Indexed passages and vectors live in your own WordPress database. Only what’s relevant to a question is ever sent to a model.

No lock-in

Use our hosted service or your own provider key. Switch whenever you like. Credits never expire.

What you get

Semantic search

Visitors ask in their own words and still reach the right page, without you maintaining a synonym list or guessing every phrasing.

Answers with sources

Every reply cites the pages it drew from, so a visitor can verify it rather than take it on faith.

Insight into demand

Chat history shows what people ask — including the questions your content doesn’t answer yet.

Who it’s for

Service businesses

Prospects ask about scope, timelines and pricing before they’ll fill in a form. Answer them at the moment they’re wondering.

Documentation and knowledge bases

Long reference sites are exactly where search fails hardest and where semantic retrieval pays off most.

Shops

Shoppers ask about sizing, delivery, materials and returns. Those answers usually exist already — just not where the shopper is looking.

Why WordPress, specifically

Because the content is already there, already structured, and already yours. A WordPress site has titles, headings, excerpts and a clean separation between content and layout — which is most of what good retrieval needs. There’s no export step, no separate content platform to sync, and no copy of your site living on somebody else’s server.

Your indexed passages sit in your own database, in your own tables. If you uninstall, they go with it.

How we think about accuracy

The hard part of an AI assistant isn’t generating text — models are good at that. It’s making sure the text is true. Everything difficult in IrisAI sits before the model: splitting content so passages stay on one topic, matching questions to the right passage, and deciding whether the match is good enough to answer at all.

That last step is the one most implementations skip, and it’s the one that separates a useful assistant from a liability.
